Z Test Calculator

Z test is a statistical term that is used for checking two means when we know sample size and variance. This is done when we have set of data and standardized random variable (X).

Once we have both data set and standardized random variable we need to calculate the population mean (μ) and population standard deviation (σ). After finding out the above mentioned parameters we can use this formula to calculate the z score:

Z Test Formula

where,
z = Z test
x = standardized population mean
μ = Population mean
σ = Population standard deviation

In the below online z test calculator, enter the data set and standard random variable values in the input boxes and then click calculate button to find the output.

Enter the numbers separated by comma,
Example: 6,8,12,13,17
