# Reluctance Calculator

The magnetic reluctance is used in analyzing magnetic circuits. It is basically used for measuring the resistance presented to magnetic flux in any of the magnetic circuits.

Formula to calculate reluctance of an uniform magnetic circuit is given by:

R = Reluctance [Ampere-turns/weber - At/Wb]
l = Circuit length [meters]
μ0 = Permeability of vacuum [4 π x 10-7 Hm-1]
μr = Relative magnetic permeability (dimensionless)
A = Circuit's cross-sectional area [m2]
