# Number of Moles Calculator

The number of moles can easily be calculated when you know the weight and atomic mass of the element which you're calculating.

Formula to calculate number of moles = weight/atomic mass of the element

For Example: Calculate the number of moles in 80 grams of calcium solution. Find the number of moles.

Solution: We know the atomic mass of calcium is 40.

Formula to calculate number of moles = weight/atomic mass of the element

= 80/40

= 2

Hence, number of moles in calcium is 2
